Peace Officers Caring for Kids, commonly known as “POCK Charity” was established by Correctional Officers working at Rideau Correctional & Treatment Centre to provide financial assistance to children and families in the community we serve.

POCK Charity Fund
All funds raised go directly to children and families in need. POCK Charity is run entirely by dedicated volunteers. The support from our community sponsors is truly amazing. Each year, local businesses step up to help us, and we couldn’t do it without you. Thank you so much.

Childhood Cancer
Childhood cancer is a devastating illness that affects thousands of children each year. Donations help fund research, treatments, and support services for young patients and their families.
Cystic Fibrosis
Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disorder that affects the lungs and digestive system. Donations provide critical funding for medical treatments, research, and support programs for children living with this condition.
Congenital Heart Defects
Congenital heart defects are structural problems with the heart present at birth. Donations support surgeries, treatments, and ongoing care for children affected by these serious heart conditions.

What We Do
This year’s annual golf tournament will be held on Friday August 16th, 2024, at the beautiful Mapleview Golf and Country Club in Perth, ON.
We’re excited for the tournament with hopes that we can surpass the $210,000 mark for total raised funds.
