We’re Excited To Announce Our 22nd Annual POCK Charity Golf Tournament!
This year’s annual golf tournament will be held on Friday August 16th, 2024, at the beautiful Mapleview Golf
and Country Club in Perth, ON. We are excited for the tournament with hopes that we can surpass the
$210,000 mark for total raised funds. We are writing you to canvass for your support by either; entering a team
in this years tournament; a hole sponsorship (worth $150); or a donation to the silent auction and/or ‘buy a
square’ table or grab bags given to everyone.

Established Foundation
The Peace Officers Caring for Kids foundation was formed in the year 2002 by Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services employees Chris Gregoire, Pat Ruest, Robert Coon, Dwight Merkley and Tracy Dowdall. The foundation has experienced tremendous support throughout its 22 years of existence. Since then, our organization has been able to raise and donate over $205,000.00 to various deserving children’s charities.
Childhood Cancer
Childhood cancer is a devastating illness that affects thousands of children each year. Donations help fund research, treatments, and support services for young patients and their families.
Congenital Heart Defects
Congenital heart defects are structural problems with the heart present at birth. Donations support surgeries, treatments, and ongoing care for children affected by these serious conditions.
